Finalist – Queensland Export Awards 2021
Oper8 Global’s APAC business has been announced a finalist in the Premier of Queensland’s Export Awards for 2021 (Australia).
Oper8 Global is pleased to make the shortlist for Queensland’s Export Awards 2021, against 160 nominations. Oper8 Global’s APAC business saw a significant increase in export sales across the Pacific Region through our APAC headquarters based in Brisbane.
As noted by the Premier and Minister for Trade, The Honourable Annastacia Palaszczuk, Queensland’s exporters “support one in five Queensland jobs, with about 40 per cent of the 7,473 goods exports based in regional Queensland.”
“They’ve also risen to the challenges of COVID by diversifying into new markets, developing new products and strengthening relationships with customers in some of the toughest of times.”
As noted by Mike Andrea, CEO, Oper8 Global “being a local Queensland business that has been expanding globally, this is a great result for the tireless work being undertaken by the Oper8 Global team and our Key Partners, and is fantastic to see Queensland recognition in being announced a finalist in the Queensland Premier’s Awards for 2021”.
Winners in each of the 13 award categories go in the running to be named Queensland Exporter of the Year. They also gain automatic entry to the Australian Export & Investment Awards, held by Austrade in November.
