Oper8 Rugged Micro DC
The Oper8 Global Micro Data Centre can be specified with an IP66-rated enclosure. This option enables the Micro DC to be located in much harsher environments. This allows the Micro DC to free up office or warehouse space and exploit the unused space outside the building.
Better still, the external variant can be easily sited at remote locations. With the optional remote monitoring with excellent real-time visibility over your IT estate and full support from Oper8 Global, owning and operating this solution remotely is simple.

Making Data Centre Simple and Secure
Oper8 Global have multiple Data Centre solutions, from our PICO DC ranging from 1-3KW per rack in 14U-24U rack, NANO DC from 3KW -8KW per rack in 24U -42U rack and the MICRO DC From 8KW – 125KW per rack in 40U, 45U and 48U racks.
All racks are 100% airtight and are fully fitted out with AC, Fire Suppression, Intelligent rack-mounted PDU’s, UPS systems.
The IT ECO System is scalable and can be configured for indoor or external applications up to IP66. The real benefit of this product is flexibility as it allows you to grow as your IT estate grows without the need for dedicated server rooms or controlled environments.
Data Centre Cooling
The Oper8 Global Micro is designed with a unique air conditioning system. The self-contained air conditioning unit does not require any pipework or external moto-condensing units as it is all built into the indoor unit.
Not only does this reduce the cost and speed of deployment, but it also increases security. Less external components mean less risk to mitigate.

Oper8 Global offers a great selection of rack-mounted UPS systems from well-established, industry-leading manufacturers.
Systems are designed to suit a resilient infrastructure and offer a broad power range.
Rack Fully Customisable
Like most conventional IT racks, the Oper8 Micro DC uses 19” rack rails to accommodate standard Data Centre Hardware. To maximise efficiency of the smaller footprint, it is possible to add a further 6U to the side of the rails to mount switches, EMS, Fire Panels etc vertically. In total an additional 12U can be supported using the rails.
Fire Detection & Suppression
Protect your environment by optioning a fire detection and suppression system. Available from 1U high, the tiny device can detect fire using an intelligent smoke aspirating system and extinguish any threat by the inbuilt suppression system.
A range of suppression mediums is available to mitigate a fire risk to your IT estate.
Environmental Monitoring
Let Oper8 Global’s EMS and DCIM systems monitor the environment to mitigate risk and keep you informed as to what is going on 24/7 where ever you are.
Not only is the environment monitored, but additional hardware (UPS/Fire etc.) is also able to be monitored, providing customers with an excellent overview of their IT estate in real-time, anywhere in the world.

Can Oper8 Global provide on-premise maintenance services?
Yes – we support Edge, Hybrid and HPC solutions whether at your premise, your colocation site or in one of our partner colocation sites.
Can Oper8 Global maintain our existing data centre?
Yes we can. Oper8 Global uses a combination of our own team with support from specialist partners and subcontractors as required.
What type of Asset Management do your provide?
Through our Partnerships with Oper8 (Australia) and RFCode, our online asset management solution includes wireless and infrared sensors that can track the locations of your key assets across racks, rooms and buildings. Using back-to-base data synchronisation you always know where your assets are physically located. The online portal provides quick access to registered users to quickly perform asset management functions.
Can you do Wireless Environmental Monitoring?
Yes – Oper8 Global uses the RFCode range of wireless environmental sensors to provide a multi-site, multi-room monitoring solution. The solution uses 433MHz wireless signals that are sensor ‘transmit only’ to RF Readers that are ‘receive only’. Wireless sensors are quick to deploy, and can cover temperature, humidity, air pressure, fluid detection, door open/close, dry contract, 4-20mA and 0-5V, and select PDU power sensors.
